OBD1 conversion vtec wiring help
Ok the instuctions with the OBD1 conversion are kinda vague. They just tell the name of the plug and what wire to use. I don't know the name of the plugs so I don't know what goes where.
There is a black plug that comes off the vtec solenoid, what goes there/what is this called? There is only one connector inside.
Then there is the green plug that I assume is the oil pressure. There are two connectors inside.
Now there are only 2 wires that say they go to vtec, so whats the deal with the three connections.

VTEC SOLENOID-BLACK PLUG- 1 WIRE -----> A4 on ECU
VTEC OIL PRESSURE-GREEN PLUG- 2 WIRES------> (blue wire to D6 on ECU)
(black wire to ground)

Thanks!
Ok now one more question. I have a 4 wire O2 coming in. On the conversion harness it says only two of the wires go to the O2 sensor though, so what about the other two wires?

the 4 wire o2 is easy
-signal (you can use the stock wire)
-ground
the 2 wire that are the same can interchange...
-heater A6 (obd1)
-12V+

Ok I'm confused.
So one is a ground
One I just use the wire from my 1 wire O2?
One is heater and 12v+ which is what the conversion harness connects to?

I have the ECU jumper I got from eGay. I talked to you before about the dizzy wiring and you said it was the same way you did yours.
I havn't got the O2 yet. Should be coming in Friday. Trying to get eveything ready so I can get it done quick and cleanly without any problems.

You probably bought the same obd-0 to obd-1 conversion harness that I bought on ebay. If im right, I feel bad for you. The instructions that guy put were messed up and he didnt even pin one of the wires correctly. I had to troubleshoot it to get it right. Here is some info that might be of some use to you.
There are 4 wires on the oxygen sensor itself
WHITE
GREEN
BLACK

There are 4 wires going from the harness to the sensor

ORANGE
The way the colors go are
WHITE----->WHITE This is signal, A14 or D14 on ECU
GREEN----->GREEN Ground
YELLOW---->BLACK 12 Volts
ORANGE---->BLACK I think this one is 12 Volts too
on the plug, i believe they go

^ ummm no the one I bought only has two wires to the O2. It also had good instructions, however some of the stuff it named I didn't know the difference. I would have bought a Rywire, but this guy copied his and sold it for $45 shipped.
Anyways, I will post of pics of the O2 later. I can't get my old one out of my header now. Go figure the one wrench I need (22mm) is the only one I can't find.

I bought mine for 45 bucks too on ebay. I think its the same one. You can also use the 7/8 wrench to take off the oxygen sensor, that's the one i use.
Try and scan the instructions and post them here and i will try and help you out. Also, take a picture of the conversion harness.

I got the O2 wiring done, thanks to Rywire
Also gave me a killer deal on some plugs, thanks man.
I'm not getting any codes. Not sure if I have the temp vtec wired up right. Didn't feel it or hear it.
The car doesn't smoke or anything like it does when I was still running the PM6. It is a hella-of-a-lot faster too. Now next issue....handling (see other thread)
