Default Teg Suspension help

I posted this in the Integra forum also cause I didn't know which forum was more appropriate.

Started to put my coilovers in yesterday and the fronts went in fine. The rears are a different story. On the driver side, the main boilt and nut on the top are rusted to **** and I can't get it off. The two on the side were fine though. On the passenger side, the bottom bolt that holds the strut in is stuck. I made the mistake of trying to unscrew the bolt and not the nut and now its stuck Any ideas at this point would be appreciated

Why are you trying to do the middle bolt on the topmount? You only have to remove the two 14mm nuts on the sides that hold the shock to the shock tower up there.
If you're having trouble getting any of those 3 lower bolts out of the LCA, its common for them to get fused inside the sleeve of the bushing. Don't force it as they can snap off the heads fairly easily. Soak with some sort of penetrating oil for a while, and then apply heat from a torch. I'd do this a couple of times and see if that doesn't break up the rust. If not, you'll need to cut the bolt out.

oooh
I think you might be able to get an allen wrench into the shaft at the top, and then spin the nut off with a wrench. If not, air tools might break that sucker loose. I'm guessin you've given it a liberal soaking in penetrating oil.

I got the nut off....had to heat the crap out of it with an acetelyn torch and I ended up burning out the bushing on the passenger side cause it was seized in there

Word, let that be a lesson to you: anti-seize is your good friend.
