Why is it that we itr owners occasionally have bad dreams about theft?

I dreamed that we were on a vacation trip to FL and were staying in a hotel.

For some dumb reason (hey, it was a dream) I was towing my itr powered hatch with my itr.....

I come outside because I hear some ruckus and see a couple hatchbacks and a tow truck speeding off? WTF?

It turns out that they stole my itr powered hatch and left the itr (my theft deterents slowed them down perhaps)? But of course it had a broken passenger side window and all the wiring and console was FUXORD.

Then somehow I start calling Dave_B and he knows some info - come to find out he knows someone who knows who did what, and is able to get them to return my hatch. They didn't even know it had itb's in it - and hadn't even popped the hood to see the motor; they were just stealing it for the 5-lug.

Why do I have stupid dreams like this every once in a while?!

I wonder how many other itr owners have 'my itr got stolen' nightmares.....

 

I had one last night too..never had one before so it was weird.

 

I had one to. But they stole the R ripped the half of my house of with the chains I tie down my car and they stole my red hatch

Or at least mod your post to say I came out gangster style and started popping rounds off at the tow truck and capped a few of those bastards...

i have had those dreams too. i hate them.

 

I just had one of those dreams on Tuesday. Came down to my basement to go to work and I find that the ITR had been stripped while sitting at my house. I remember being pissed at my dog for not warning me that my car was getting jacked.

i've had a couple also, one was i came out into my garage in broad daylight, and my garage is big enough for 2-3 cars, 2 easily and 3 when a hurricane rolls around anyway, my car is there, and a red hatch is backed in INTO my garage, i open the door into the garage, see a black guy standing right there trying to get into my car, i immediately reach up and grab a crobar (theres one that hangs as soon as you open the door to the right over a bench) and begin to beat the snot out of this guys civic, panels, windows ect and he didn't do a thing, then i started chasing him. woke up was like WTF WAS THAT

i've also had dreams of my car crashing, not with me driving!

 

when i first insured my R, the night before i had a dream that we caught a guy in a parking lot when he had just stolen my car. only one way out so i lie down in the way (don't know why i thought that was smart) so he punches it at me and BAM! end of dream hahaha

 

I know exactly how you feel man, cause I had one about a week ago. The sad part is, I had a dream inside a dream, wtf?!!?? that only happen in the movies. I dreamt that someone stoled my ITR then I woke up and look outside my window and it was actually gone!! Then I woke up again and look outside my window and it was still there. Talk about weird!

I think I'm going to sell the car soon, I have about 5,900 to go. I love the car, its been great but I think its too troublesome for someone like me.

LOL everytime I have a dream about blowing up, wrecking or getting the R stolen I wonder why I couldn't have had a dream about naked women instead

 

I still have those bad dreams...even when I'm out of the country lol.

 

I had a dream that I wrecked my car. Again. Weirding me out.

 

I have two or so a month, They still bother the **** out of me.

I never dreamed about my car getting stolen. weird r owners. what are you a bunch of scardy cats? if someone tries to steal your car, expletive them up. beat them up and say they walked into the door. haha

 

I have them all too often...must be due to reading this forum.

same here. in the last 6+ years of owning my R, i think my R got jacked more in my dreams than all the R's that actually got jacked in real life. well, on the bright side...it's such a relief and good feeling to find my R still in my garage...over and over again.
