Default how to tell if its a true exedy clutch?

of course, im talking about the ones on ebay. ive been trying to do a little clutch research and ive noticed the Exedy organic clutches on here sell for way more than the ones on ebay, are they the same?

no it should say EXEDY, also a lot of the time people will post a OEM replacement clutch as a stage one clutch, exedy makes stock clutches for honda's and the oem replacement is significantly cheaper than the stage one. that ebay listing is for an OEM replacement, but you get a lightened flywheel. its a pretty good price for an oem clutch, and exedy flywheel IMO, but better deals can be had for the stage one.

i have that very same clutch new in box never used ready for pickup in los angeles for $200 here:

this was suppose to go into my old 95si hatchback a year ago but eventually sold the car and the clutch was long forgotten in the garage until recently.

i got my act stage 2 for 200 or hd pressure plate.. street disc.. peddle pressuer is 3 times stock.. its pretty stiff.. and it grabs hard.. i actually broke my rear t bracket..

i got an exedy clutch it said it was OEM for $85 or so..can't remember the exact price and it's almost worn out a year later... it was my first clutch install so that could've brought to the problem but the disc/plate i got were pretty weak compared to the ones i removed...

I bought a stage 1 exedy off ebay for 185 shipped and installed a LW flywheel also.Ive had it for bout a year and has worked great for me.
