Ok, i just installed a msd coil last night with new carp and wires etc. went to start it up and a HUGE cloud of smoke. i finally found out where it came from, i have a y8 swap and the 2 seperate wires to the dizzy (the power and ground wire) just burnt up. WHY!?!?! ive got the harness out and im gonan replace it with new wire but im nervous about putting it back in. and ive checkde 100's of times, everythign is wired right

 

it cant be wired right or you wouldn't have smoke. Sounds like electricity was sent into a sensor or something that receives small inputs but received a large amount of power.
