your looking at the straight line speed and power, R was made for road course...take that same GSR with those mods and take the R, put them on the same track with same driver, and the R is gonna be faster.

 

Yes. Thats very true. Type-R suspension is awesome, and I know it. I drive my friend's R alot. But I'm talkin about 0-60 and 1/4 times. Acceleration and stuff like that. Anyone know why? I don't have a clear answer, and alot of people are stumped.

 

It must have to do with the head and how it flows. The GSR's head is different than the Type R's head. Plus , if there is a VAFC in the GSR there should also be one in the Type R as leaning and richening the A/F mixture would optimize performance.

Ah ic. I was adding the VAFC to the GS-R so it would change the Vtec X-over. Forgot about all that Fuel/air mixture stuff....
