Default radiator leak?

i have a 93 hatch wit jdm b16 2nd gen swap... with full bolt ons... except for throttle body.....i filled up my radiator and my resivoir tank with coolant..... after every time i pop the hood my resivoir is always empty.... i checked my friends gsr and he had coolant sitting in his resivoir tank... is this normal to have no coolant in the resivoir tank or do u think i have a leak?

but my car doesnt overheat or anything ... i just never have coolant in the resivoir

did you install a new radiator?

i did replaced my radiator a month ago, and for 3 wks, the levels kept dropping, and i just kept adding coolant... right now it doesnt drop anymore.

i think it just needed time to circulate through the whole system since i flushed it.

I am willing to bet that the resivior is leaking.

Honda did a really shitty job of mounting them and they vibrate during driving. Ususlly, when the plastic gets old, they tend to get brittle and crack. When they crack, every bit of coolant in the bottle will leak out.
