I have 17s on a '99 Silver coupe and it's dropped 2.5" with Neuspeed race springs.

Yeah it looks really clean as long as you get ur camber adjusted if need be, and dont get some monster truck off road tires... and depending on color of ur car also matters, i had black 00 si with black 17" motegis an people used to compliment me all the time on the style/look < im not a rice fan either so no flamez on that quote > i had full JDM conversion on my **** but I got the rims for free an they ended up lookin awesome.. i ended up trading them for some 15" rota slips though ;-) iT waS TraCK TimE....!!

this is more of a apearance cosmetic question, but yes the right 17's look good on a coupe. I'm rocking 17 inch volks with a 2.75 inch drop on h&r race springs/koni shocks combo

I need to drop mine. Probably go with a 1" or 1.5". Haven't decided yet.

btw this is kinda appearance but 17's look like crap on all 6th gens. They just look way to huge. 16's look perfict.

If they only come in 17's, I'd go for a different wheel. Unless you are just going for bling, you would be much happier with 16's or even 15's.

this issue is subjective.. people telling you that that it would look better and you would be happier with smaller rims.. its all opinions. you should really just surf the A/C forum and look for pics, cause youll find tons im sure. considering your asking a LOT of people about their opinion, you should really do more research and look for more pics, because when it comes down to it, you need to like the end result, not everyone else. dont build your car to other peoples liking.
