Default 17" rims on coupe

Will 17" rims and tires fit on a stock 95 ex coupe without any rubbing and such?

does anyone have any pictures of 17's on your car if you dont mind.

Yes, I've seen 18's on a civic without rubbing...

I honestly believe you should go lower though, it really does look better to have 15's or 16's on there...

My own opinion though! Good Luck

!7's work fine. I had 17s on my civic WITH neuspeed race springs, and it would only rub the inner fender if I was going down the highway and got in the grooves on the street that make you feel like you are on a jetski.......then you could hear it hitting the inner plastic fender.

**Also I was able to make full turns without having to roll the fender or anything, no rubbing at all. But if you dont have your car lowered you are going to look like a 4x4.

Yeah lol, it makes your car raise up a bit higher than you may want...

i would go with 16's max. anything larger than a 16 and u start screwing around with ur ride height. i have 16's on mine with a +40 offset 16x7 and i dont rub. if u get 17's ur gonna need a 40 series tire which has really no sidewall.

16x7 with a 45 series tire is ur best bet. 17's dont look right imo.

It is YOUR car do what YOU want.

I just bought an ej1 that came with some ICW 17's (looks pretty decent) I was going to get rid of them for some 15s, but, have decided not because even if I bought 15s I would still have seperate wheels for the track so whats the point?

and to answer you question. yes they will fit if you lower ~2" or less and the right offset. I plan on getting some skunk2 springs+shocks.

x2

I had some 17" Konig Rated-R's back in the day on my EJ1, and they looked nice, but very ricey and they rubbed like nobody's business (left, right, u-turns). IMOO
I would go with nothing larger than 16" rims. The profile of the tire is too low on a 17" rim and now you will find yourself slamming on your brakes for potholes and RR tracks.

I would just get some JDM 15's and lower my car 2 inches... that would be the most JDM thing to do.

If you're car is rubbing, you might want to look at the offset..

17 works fine with me (205/40), but i'd stick to 7x16 with an offset like 42/45.

As far as my 15s rubbing on a 6G coupe with 195/50-15s, my car has LS meshies on it. They're not monstrous wheels.
