do not use the gsr cams and the type r cams are worth it if you get a good deal on them other wise go aftermarket for more power. i have type r cams in my b16 and they made just a slight difference, not very much.

Stock timing, stock b16a with cams... I've actually seen dyno plots of GSR cams losing 2 hp total through the powerband.

(note my sig) I would have gotten some ITR/CTR cams if I wasn't planning boost, but GSR cams on boost I couldn't resist the 75 bucks I got them for.

putting gsr cam into your b16 is like having ctr cams and you wanting to put itr cams in your b16 or whatever b-series vtec engine. you may lose a little on the top end due to the lobes but the difference is so minute that you dont see or feel it under regular driving conditions. bottom line, save your money and time and upgrade your cams to something better like type r cams.

The only difference between Stock B16A2 cams and any GSR Cam is that the B16A2 cam has slightly more lift on the exhaust cam. That's it.

If you are going all motor than go with ITR cams or bigger. With turbo you want lift but less duration. GSR cams make about 20whp more than B16A2 cams in a turbo car depending on other mods.

EDIT:
All GSR cams have this spec - GSR cam is 10.74 intake exhaust cam is 9.60
Civic Si cam is 10.46 intake 9.62 exhaust

So really if you had Civic Si cams and GSR cam you would want the GSR intake and the Si exhaust.

Honda says 10.6 / 9.4 for both Si and GSR

These are USDM cams
