i have a question regarding a welder i recently bought

so i bought the welder from kragen... it is a 90 amp wire flux welder... well i was reading the manual and it said that the welder can not be use on stainless steel. the manual does not explain why... and i was wondering if you guys would know? thanks.

Are you able to connect an cylinder tank to it? Probbly not, if that's so...there's your awnser. Ok, seriously...SS requires a shielding gas(Argon/co2/helium mix) for it to work...
