nope not hex.... It was a big bolt and it is bigger than a 18mm socket. I need to know what size it is so i can tighten it but i need to buy the right socket for it.
btw... I believe the bolt is for the freeze plug.

You mean the bolt to drain the coolant from the block?

It's either a 19mm (same as lug nuts) or something in the neighborhood of 22mm. I can't remember exactly off-hand.

I can't remember either, but the part # is 90001-PM3-003 and the actual threaded part is supposed to be 28mm, so I am betting that it's a 20-22mm. It seems bigger than the crank pulley bolt to me, at least in my mind.

As far as the leaking, it is prone to do that, but you may not need to replace it, just take it out, watch coolant poor everywhere, and put some hondabond or other grey silicone sealant on the threads (assuming they aren't noticeably stripped). Hopefully that will stop your problem.

Isn't there also a large crush washer on that bolt? Might need to replace that if there is.

Yes, there is. It's not something any dealers/auto parts stores in my area stock regularly either, I guess they figure most people just don't care or flip it over and crush the other side. But I had to order it, took a couple extra days.

I cant help on the size, but the TQ is 78NM (58 lbf.ft) and "apply liquid gasket to bolt thread when installing. WASHER replace"

That is from my service book.
