I'm just starting to mod my teg gs
i'm just starting out modding my teg gs i've already got a cold air intake an exhaust in the mail i'm wonder what esle i could do to get a boost in power without going straight to a turbo. I plan on getting one next summer but i want something that can help me beat those pesky civic si and those celica's the none gt ones or whatever just cause they think they're such hot shots.

There are a lot of little things you can do but you won't be much further then you are right now. My best advice would be to save up money and keep building your turbo kit. Really it's just not worth spending money on something that isn't going to contribute much, if anything to your ultimate goal which is boost. Just my advice so take it or leave it but I'm talking from some experience. Good luck with your car

If your goal is to boost the motor in the future, save your money for that project. If you feel the need to spend money now, spend it on parts that will compliment your turbo later on. Some examples include: good tires, a limited slip differential, more powerful brakes, a quality fire extinguisher, and upgraded suspension. I prefer to upgrade my cars in the following order:
Stop-Turn-Go
I have found power to be useless if your car can not do anything with it. My Integra has a ton of suspension work, and some brake upgrades. I plan to finish the work on my brakes soon, and will then focus my attention on power.

But yeah, Save up for the turbo like everyone said,
Do it right the first time and don't screw around.
