might have to remove my cams in a month and a half due to carb...

might even sell them...


where and around how much?

Ouch...doesn't sound good...you'll also have to remove the skunk manifold and the itr AEM CAI...

If you're just removing your cams it shouldn't cost more than 120 dollars. I don't see why you would have to take your intake manifold off if you're keeping the head on. You're gonna sell your cams because of carb??

He has a Skunk2 intake manifold...and he's having to take a trip to go and see the CARB referee...which means that if it doesn't have a CARB number for it, or if you've made any modifications whatsoever with non-CARB approved parts, chances are that you're screwed and will fail the test.

If your are just removing the cams and not removing vavle springs are anything it's pretty easy. most shops charge like 200 dollars

and you need to see refree for that? I thought those are fix-it tickets?

Not only is it "free" but you gain valuable experience for when you put your non-stock cams back in...

Weren't you the one who was trying to figure out whether or not you should bring your car up to Boston? You should, because you won't have to deal with the this **** here. You can't even fully enjoy it. And even if you had the car registered with MA plates, you won't have a problem in when you're back in Cali.
