Q Power Dyno Challenge returns to NHRA Sport Compact events in 2006
Q HIGH-PERFORMANCE NHRA DYNO CHALLENGE RETURNS IN 2006
GLENDORA, Calif. (March 22, 2006)– Select NHRA Xplōd Sport Compact Racing Series racers will have the opportunity to confirm horsepower and torque produced by their respective drag racing vehicles during the Q High-Performance NHRA Dyno Challenge, which will be showcased at each NHRA Xplōd Sport Compact Racing Series event during the 2006 season.

Each racing vehicle that registers the highest horsepower on the dynamometer in one of four classes will receive one case of Q Full Synthetic and a Q High-Performance NHRA Dyno Challenge trophy. Quaker State will issue free invitations toNHRA Xplōd Sport Compact Series competitors to participate, and approximately 50 dyno passes will be allowed per event. The four Q High-Performance NHRA Dyno Challenge classes include:
Naturally aspirated four-cylinder
Forced induction four-cylinder
Naturally aspirated six-cylinder and rotary
Forced induction six-cylinder and rotary
Quaker State will provide the mobile dynamometer at each of the NHRA Xplōd Sport Compact Racing Series events and provide the instant test results for each participant in the Challenge. The Q High-Performance NHRA Dyno Challenge will be held at Quaker State's display space in the Xplōd Sport Compact Series Manufacturer's Midway.
The Q High-Performance NHRA Dyno Challenge is another special attraction available only at NHRA Xplōd Sport Compact Racing Series events. The series also offers NHRA Sony Xplōd Stylefest.
