I have tried this man and there really is no good place to mount the popper. Also, the solenoid that you will mount, will more than likely break due to the doors being light.

I got them on my car, only problem I had was the person who mounted them did it on an angle, so when you clicked it to open it would hit the door panel. Fixed it though.

Theifs don't like to draw attention, they would have to break the window and climb in the window.

may be too late too help, but with mine I used a trunk release kit and I mounted the solenoid in the upwards postion at the bottom of my door underneath the doorhandle and the aircraft line attached to it I just ran to the lever at the back of the door. Sorry i dont have any pictures right now, and my car is stored for the winter, but hopefully this will help somewhat.
Good luck with the project.

im not telling you this is the CORRECT way to do it. might be a little mickey mouse but i've havent had any problems wit mine. i put it where your armrest would be on the panel. yes i know its realy far down there but its the only place that it will fit. and i bent the linkage to the actuator like a "Z" just wit 90 degree angles. i've had them in for a year and no problems always lock/unlock. well hope that helps
