just curious where to find the idle screw on my S2 throttle body. my car doesn't like to idle for **** right now. It idles fine until is warmed up then it bogs down and sometime wants to or does die. ( btw.. the IACV is fine, it is brand new from the dealer ) The car is just running a bit rich at idle, so I am curious if I mess with the idle screw if I can get it to idle a bit better and at least hold a steady idle. Thanks in advance for the help.

 

top of tb, the only screw thats visible where you can adjust with a flathead screwdriver. Pretty much same location of stock.

 

cool, and i take it that the looser i make it the higher the idle will be, correct?

 

higher it is the lower it will idle..has your car been tuned? might just need to be tuned.

 

what do you mean the higher it is... the more i loosen it? so what you are saying is I need to tighten it then probably?

I know for a fact it needs to be tuned, but I am not spending a single dime more on this car. I just need it to idle as well as possible because i am trading it in in a couple weeks for a '06 TL. then it can be the dealers problem.
