for peeps who has acoord type r lips
im putting mine on my 4th gen but the type r lip does not have enough space to drill holes on to attach it to the bumper. well i think the only option is gluing it to the stock lip and bolting the stock lip on. well im just wondering if this is the only option, if not, what else? thanks a lot
no way man. There should be no need to glue anything....
(you might need two people for this i dunno)
1. take ur bumper off
2. take ur stock front lip off
3. turn ur bumper over
4. place the type R lip over the bumper
5. Mark on the lip where the stock bolt holes are
6. Drill holes in the type R lip where you marked
7. Bolt in the type R lip w/ the stock bolts
Thats much easier than doign any kind of gluing etc.....And plus it makes it completely interchangable and easy to take on/off etc.

There's usually not enough room to drill holes into the top of the Type R lip. There are some that have little tabs to drill into or already have holes, but others need to be glued on or adhered with 3M to the stock lip.
ya i got the ones that has a very little space on the top of the lip and if i drill it and try to screw it on, its not gonna line up to the bumper right. btw this "3M" is this some kind of double sided tape? will this hold? thanks

i used liquid nails and then screwed it on with wood screws. after a day or so i took the screws out and its on real snug and tight. only ull have to fill the holes u made with body filler. and remember to use the liquid nails as per the directions. meaning u add glue then press the pieces together then pull apart, let sit for like 3-5 minutes then reapply. it will be permanent.
no that's not the one i have. unfortunately, the one i have is this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
