timing belt question

Default timing belt question

okay no matter what i do, i cannot get my motor timed correctly. i even took it midas and they couldn't time it without taking the timing belt off and re adjusting it because it was off a few teeth. and they want almost 200$ to do it =/. so i was wondering if i took off the timing belt myself, how would i put it on so it WONT be a "Few" teeth off? is there any certain way to tell? i searched but coudln't find anything relating to my question.

factory, everything is stock. motor is a d15b7

just make sure its on correct, turn it a few times and see if it goes back to the same spot,, then time the car

Are you using the timing marks on the timing belt cover, pulley, and cams? You take off the valve cover losen the tensioner, then slide the belt off the cams. Then set everything to TDC (using all the marks previously stated). With the tensioner loose, you place the belt back on the cams, then turn the crank a little bit to adjust the tension. Tighten the tensioner pulley, then rotate the crank to see if everything lines up. Make sure you rotate the crank the correct way though. Do you own a helms manual? They are very helpful.
