I have a 98 civic hatch that will not move when in gear. I had it parked and in gear. I forgot that it was in gear, I started the car and it jerked forward and made a loud clunk noise then died. I started it up again and put it in first, now when I press on the gas in gear it makes a loud grinding noise and will not move. What could it be? I was told it was the tranny? I greatly appreciate the help!
