Default tranny end of axle loose?

whew

i just finished replacing my driver's side axle, but i'm not sure if it is seated all the way against the tranny case or not. i test drove it and it seemed fine except for the noticeable alignment difference.. can anyone advise? thanks in advace

Unless you have the wrong axle, or you didn't put everything back correct. It shouldn't have change. You can look at the tranny to make sure the axle is tight to it. Just compare it to the other side.
