Yes, i'm from Canada. I bought the car in late 1994 from the original owner who got the option right from Honda the day it came off the lot.
The car is an Si model. There are a few differnt options between US and Canada models. Just to name a few, we got door mounted seatbelts, had the rare option of power windows, got different floormats, and 90-91 Si models got painted door handles and mirrors.
The SE came in silver only. It has the SIR wing and leather wrapped steering wheel, and the outside moldings came painted also.

yea i had a canadian Si for a lil while, it was white, the door handles, mirrors were color matched so it was sorta cooler i guess,
but yea i believe the USDM crx's also had cruise control as an option, it was AWFULLY rare to come across one of these, in-fact my crx cluster actually has a cruise control light but i know the cluster is not original and i tried searching and trying to retrofit an a cruise control module, but its a pain in the ***..

a while back i actually was driven to get a cruise control for my car mainly cuz i drive 200 miles a day ..and mostly on highway, but after researching a lot i found out that a LOT of the aftermarket cruise control modules refused to comply for honda applications, for some reason i found a completely universal setup and it worked for all model/makes except honda...
also you can use the cruise control from the EF sedan's i believe, but that requires a lot of work, swapping out the pedal assembly ...just to start with...not entirely worth it...

my 88 hf had cruise in it, i dont know if it was factory or not but the lever looked just like the one pictured. i just figured some one added it at some point, i would have thought if it were from honda it would be more like the 92 and up with a button and small switch on wheel.

That stalk is mounted behind the OEM stalk.
That's the thing I don't like about aftermarket systems.

That's not OEM. It may have been dealer-installed, but it's an aftermarket kit. Cruise was never an option nor an accessory for the USDM CRX.

I think you mean we have pillar mounted belts, which is what my 89 si has.

It's not Canadian either, if that makes you feel better.
Not an OEM piece, period.

I saw that same cruise control arm on a y49 down here at a shop in IL. When I saw it I remember thinking that it looked a little ackward, like an aftermarket install. I am wondering however, if the cruise control arm pictured here is the same one that you would find on LX/EXs? Did LX and EX efs come with cruise at all?
