Its not worth $250 to me..If I wanted a vtec controller I would just one of those buddyclub units for $50..I would only buy that fields unit if it was dirt cheap or I got it for free or whatever..

if it is i dont even know why u would wanna change ur crossover point...its not like ur gonna make any power from it...save ur money.

because man, he wants to feel the pull of the ALMIGHTY VTAK Y0!

but ya, u dont want to set it lower on a stock setup, all its gonna do is lose power, worse gas milage

I agree. On stock cams? Just leave your vtec alone.

That piggy back stuff is bad because your ecu is still operating on the same fuel and ignition timing maps. It is better to get it tuned.

? i thought the it already crosses over at 4500, or was it 5500? but either way its not goign to engauge unless ur on the highway or freeway a lot (every day driving that is...)

a while back I raced this kid (at the track) who had a b16 crx...I ended up beating him by almost a whole second and afterwards he said, "Damnit, I dont get it...I just turned my vtec engagement down to 4400 rpm" I said, "stock cams?" "yeah" he replied. I smiled politely and walked away. Moral of the story? Leave it alone!
