Fields Vtec controller good or bad
Its not worth $250 to me..If I wanted a vtec controller I would just one of those buddyclub units for $50..I would only buy that fields unit if it was dirt cheap or I got it for free or whatever..

I agree. On stock cams? Just leave your vtec alone.

That piggy back stuff is bad because your ecu is still operating on the same fuel and ignition timing maps. It is better to get it tuned.

a while back I raced this kid (at the track) who had a b16 crx...I ended up beating him by almost a whole second and afterwards he said, "Damnit, I dont get it...I just turned my vtec engagement down to 4400 rpm" I said, "stock cams?" "yeah" he replied. I smiled politely and walked away. Moral of the story? Leave it alone!
