Has anyone with a 99/00 hatchback successfully install OEM power door locks?
I completed my install this past weekend and the windows/mirrors work fine, however the door locks do not work. I have the door lock control unit, but could NOT find anywhere to plug it in to.
I had my friend come over with his 99 Ex coupe and it looks like I do not have the right harness. The plug for the lock unit comes from the same harness that goes into the engine bay (driver's side).
The actuators DO work (plugged straight to power) so if I do not get this working I suppose its okay since I will be setting up an alarm to the actuators. Only problem is reaching over to unlock the door to let someone in. Hahaha.
Here is a picture of the door lock unit and where it SHOULD go.

that door lock box mounts inside the driverside door on top of the speakers. your wiring should plug in there from the harness on the door
I think I'm screwed. I am going to try to figure out out to just wire the locks together without the box. Hahaha.

In my couple the door locks and OEM alarm were controlled by the radio. When you get an aftermarket radio, you have to tuck the OEM back in the dash to retain door looks/alarm.
I could be wrong but maybe you need an OEM radio that had alarm/door locks controls???

Hmm, never heard of that. My friend that came over with his coupe had an aftermarket deck and his locks work.

i am in the same situation, i have 99-00 civic powered doors, and my car is a 96-98, everything else work, but i can't find the plug to plug up the power locks white box. I am using a 96-98 floor harness.

It mounts with the bolts on top and bottom with the wires pointing down . If you changed the middle interior harness the plug maybe under the carpet or in the dash harness. I'll try to find the wire routing.
Sorry, Your out of luck. The keyless control plugs into the main dash harness in the 99-00. To use it you'll have to change the dash harness and the headlight/engine bay harness ( the engine bay plugs are different because of addition of cruise control wire).
you dont need that box to make them work you only need 2 relays. hit up fcm in the audio forum, he will tell you how to wire them just like aftermarket ones are done ,I would but i dont have enough time right now. i have oem locks wired with 2 relays and they work perfect.
