Looking for a good clutch.......
well JERK, my question is a little different, because i am looking for a clutch that will handle lots of downshifting and not like most race clutches.
And by the way JERK, I only seen one clutch topic and hes was looking for a street clutch. So don't be a rude dumbass........

dumbass?
anyways it depends on how much you want to spend.
i will run it down for you.
i have had act, and excedy.
now i have a ebay f1 stage 2 racing clutch.
with a fandanza flywheel. (8lbs)
f1 buys there clutches from compotion clutches
and stamps there name on it.
i also have had there stage 3 6 puck.
the stage three 6 puck is almost unbearable in everyday stop and go.
for road racing its great. and grabs perfectly.
the stage 2 still has a bit of clutch chatter. but its easier to deal with. and is also great to race with.
the differences bettween f1,act,excedy. IMO
is price
excedy is a little bit better than both. but i belive act is over rated and over priced.
act can range from 450 to 350 give or take
excedy can range from 350 to 250
and f1 will go about 250 with flywheel.
these are only the ones i have had experience with. not to say there arent better or worse one out there.
sorry dint mean to give you a smart *** answer before.

My Exedy 3 puck has served me well during mild racing use. For an all out road race setup you cant go wrong with the Exedy Twin Plate clutches.
