Default just chased off some possible theives

Was sittign at my desk working and I heard my alarm go off. Jusmped up and ran to the window. I saw 2 kids in an old hatchcrap boxing my car in. One was just getting back in the car.

I ran or should I say jumped down 3 flights of stairs, rolling my ankle on the way. Got outside and turned off my alarm. These kids are still sitting there in their car. I sit in mine for a litle while and contemplate what to do. So i get a spare piece of paper leave my car and write down the plate and a descripsion of their car and the punks in it. Im just standing outside talking to a coworker while she is have a butt, and then out of the blue, they just turn around and leave. Nobody to pick up and nobody to drop off... Im on hightened security now. Nothing was wrong with the locks or with the hood/trunk.

Cliff notes; thieves tried to take my baby or are testign the waters around her....

You car's days are numbered if you continue to park it there. Time to get a beater.

You know i realy don't know what I would do about something like that. Cause if I was a thief and somebody beat me up for trying to break in there car, I would be pissed. I would then probably go back and key the **** out of there car, throw a brick through the window, kick some body panels in, etc... Dunno, thats just me. That is why i am not sure if I would confront them or just wait and call the cops anonymously later or something. Stuff like that is always in the back of my mind, people out there today don't give a **** if they were doing something wrong in the first place, if you do something to them, they will do something back.

Ross im about an hour away from my house and its my only car and we have no room for another one at my house. i was told by my dad who witnessd the whole thing that they just kicked the tires and the alarm went off. They jumped and got back in their car, but stuck around for awhile.

I would think that if they meant no harm that they woul have said sorry we were just looking.

They were probably testing out your alarm for later. see how you would respond.

Take no prisoners Sounds like they were testing your car, seeing if it had an alarm, how long it would take you to hear/get to it etc.

How about I drive down we run that plate # find their house and sit out front of their car We'll see if they come back when you know where they live.

Thats the best idea. Get a bunch of friends to go with you, and just hang out in front of their house for a few hours. Bring some beer, and something to eat. And a gun of course.

Unless both of them are like 6'5" 250+ pounds and their names are Bruno and Bubba, so the hell with that. I'll call the cops.

B-DIDDY, that sucks man. I agree, the best solution is a beater.. No matter what security features you have, there are just to many THIEF ************* out there. I have a 2000 Civic Si. I know, not the same as an R, but there are so many ****** PUNKS out there that will jack it in a heart beat. I leave her home in the garage and drive my 87 Accord LXi to work. I sleep much better at night. Good luck and stay ALERT!!

We gotta meet up..I'm in Stamford but i was working up near Redding all last week...I even drove my car up there a few days...Don't sleep on Greenwich..It's a rich town and all but that is where the thieves like to shop..I've heard of a few Rs stolen from Greenwich, and mine was stolen from Stamford, one town over..They couldn't get the one i have now though..I can show you some good devices for theft..

IM me or e-mail..We'll hook up..

i think they were seeing if it had an alarm? yes it does ok next week we'll bring tools to disarm the alarm. watch out and i suggest you take out the ecu and that cover that covers the ecu leave it on your seat so they know you took it out so they don't try to steal it and mess up the car before they find out there is no ecu

I live in a well patrolled area. I have spotlights on my driveway. 4 mfn theives still tried to slip away w/ my R....saw them pullin in the driveway, called the cops, walked into the driveway w/ chainsaw. They bolted. I chased them in aforementioned R (their taurus had NOOO chance) called cops from cell. They got pulled over, arrested @ gunpoint cause they had some of my foglights w/ them and were on my property. Serves them right
