Default Trying to diagnose a suspension prob... Tie rods...

K, Ive searched... Read thru alot of different posts... First off, I have a 91 CRX Si... From readng posts and wiggling the suspension I determined my ball joints are toast so I bought new ones... Now my only problem, is I cant figure out if my tie rods are toast or not... The problem is I can move stuff, but I dont know if its supposed to move or not... Bascially what I can do is when I have my car jacked up, I can turn the wheels with my hands... And it does seem to be able to move side to side... And it even seems to move my other wheel, and even the steering wheel when I do it... So it seems like it s a normal motion for tie rods... But is this normal? Or does it mean my tie rods are shot? Inner, outter, or both? Also Ive noticed when I grab the outter tie rod and twist it, I can move it, all way back inside the rubber peice seems like I can twist the whole thing on both sides of the car... I just dont know what is supposed to move which way and what isnt... Any help is appreciated...

Oh and other than the fact I can move it with it jacked up, I dont have any of the symptoms of a bad tie rod, no wobbly steering at high speeds or anything... Everything SEEMS normal otherwise...
