has anyone fitted one of these, im looking to fit a 70mm BDL on my H22A7 with a AEM Cold AIR intake

would i benifit from it or are they a waste of money.

i will upgrading the valve train and cams very soon maybe some crower stage 2 maybe 3 and port and polish the head.

i have one. you need to do some work to the port area of the I/M to get it to work though.

do they make any improvement on performance

 

you need to bore the manifold to match, and match your gasket (although the BDL should come with a gasket).
you will also need to make sure the water jackets and air passages you cut into are handled accordingly. the FITV isn't used on the new TB, so you don't have to worry about that, but there are other passages that need to match up.

and yes, it helps!! my H22 s-spec loved it, and my newest H23A VTEC, i don't think it could live without it. i have the 70mm, and it's great.
