Sup everyone,

This guy is selling me itr cams for a decent price, he says he needs cash cause he blew his block. He says they're from an 01 itr, but I don't think he knows they look like 98 itr cams, or maybe he really does know, but I doubt it since the asking price doesnt reflect it.

I should be going to pickup them up soon, but my friend is telling me, "Are you sure man?" "They came from a blown engine. What if they're messed up?"





Some thoughts/advice would be much appreciated.

yeah just make sure they don't have any dings in them!

or scoring and heat discoloration

 

dont worry they should be fine, but do check for heat scoring and any dings,chips, or dents..

yeah cams dont normally get banged up from a blown motor...just look for major scratches where theres metal to metal contact
