pop your hood and look at the mounts that hold the hood to the car. You will see that you can make small adjustments on the mounts. Loosen the bolts and see what you can do to make it fit right.

to fix your headlights, get a bottle of polishing compound from an auto parts store and have at it.

no no no no...lol... i Carb Creations sucks at fitment. and takes alot to make it work and look somwhat decent. believe me i bought a hood and trunk lid from them for my accord. the hood took some work and still fits a litle high ( with out hood pins it looks a little open) and hte trunk lid is just not fluch with my tail lights ( like if it needs hood pins but for the trunk) ... i tried to get my money back but if you read thier site.. it striclty indicates that these parts are not oem fitment and may require some modification..half the **** they sell is carbon grade A. but fitment grade is C.. meanin there are minor imperfections that can be fixed with modifications.. good luck , but next time go with VIS.

just get a set of hoodpins, theyre a good idea anyways....

also check the rubber bumpstops on the radiator support, they screw in and out some....

try installing the rubber gaskets that were on your oem hood. you know, the ones that lined your headlights. could possibly close the gap...

If you were that guy, there were plenty of people that told you to go with ViS (including me). You just didn't listen to us because the people who didn't take care if their ViS complained about its quality. ViS isn't the best out there, but it looks a hell alot better than that. Sorry about your crappy hood man.

you know to be totally honest, it really does look like the gap just big enough for the rubber peices that were attached to your st ock hood. The rubber peice that closes the gap btwn your stock hood and your headlights. If you were to take off the rubber peice on your stock hood it would have the same gap, i saw it on another prelude. Try that out and see if it works.

Don't cry, just install the OEM rubbers, it was the case of my friend.

It changes everything:

Did it suck as in it faded or what? the vis hood you had you said fit perfectly and according to everyone else as long as you take care of it, it will last you a good 4 years im sure thats the case with any cf hood.

I looks like you may be able to loosen the hood latch and slide it down some too along with installing the OEM rubber around the headlights. I had to do that with my hood on my 4th gen to get it to close the gap between the hood and bumper.

JSP FTW!
