Unusual Tranny Sound Between 20-30MPh After Replacing Major Bearings and 1/2 Synchro
Aftermarket Tranny Parts on the car:
* JDM Final Drive
* Comptech 7lbs Aluminum Flywheel
Here's what was replaced:
* 1/2 Syncho
* 1st Gear (JDM)
* 2nd Gear
* Friction Dampeners on Countershaft
* Pilot Bearing
* Throwout Bearing
* Main/Countershaft bearings on Clutch Housing
* Main/Countershaft bearings at the end of the shafts themselves
* Bearings on both sides of the LSD
Now I have this weird noise that's hard to describe between 20-30mph. It happens in every gear including neutral with both clutch pressed in and out...basically any situation where the car is between the MPH mentioned. Any ideas?

The only thing I could think of that would make a noise with all of those variables would be the axles. It's a long shot, and I know it wasn't changed, but it's the only thing I can think of.

is the sound kinda like when you go in reverse?... that whining sound
it could be the shim clearance between the differential. (check your helms manual and get angled feeler gauges) this is what it was for me when i pulled my tranny and disassembled/reassembled it 7 times... and unfortunately you cant check the noise until its put back on the engine...
