motor swap for a 98 2.3 cl
any f/h series motor should be a direct bolt in since you already have an f series motor in your car. As for the J series you would most likely have to get the engine support sub frame from the 3.0cl plus the mounts which are expensive because the jseries uses liquid filled mounts, plus the manual trannies for these cars are still relativly hard to find as they havent produced a whole lot of them and the autos arnt worth it imo. I would say for the price of putting in a j32 you could probably get the h22 close if not exceeding that power output for the same amount of money, plus the h22 has much more room to expand because of the greater aftermarket
yes it will. As for further info about h and f series conversion I would go to the Accord forum and search around after all all a cl is is a accord with slightly different external styling

boost would probably be the cheapest way to get lots more power. When you do it though you will want to have it tuned that way you are running more efficiently and you know no engine detrimental instances are happening such as detonation
How much do you think it might cost to build the motor for around 18 pounds of boost well what would you recomend for the amount of boost? Dont you have to get it sleeved when you put new pistens in it? Bear with me im kinda new at this turbo stuff i dont no much about it.
Thanks
Thanks
I havent personally built a high performance turbio motor so your best bet would be to start searching through the FI forum on this board for better info than I can provide

That's the best forums for 1st gen CL's. There's a bunch of H22 swapped CL's on there and even one guy that's swapping in a J32.
