Well I am having trouble bolting up my half shaft into my GSR block since I cannot find the bolts needed to go into the block. I have sat in my garage and tried every bolt possible that I had. I check Majestic and the measurement given is 8x1.25 which makes no sense of a 8mm with the thread of 1.25 and then no length. So I got and buy some m8x1.25 and still no luck of grabbing I got diffrent sizes of length but still not luck. Anyone know the exact measurements of these bolts. Id rather avoid the stealerships but let me know guys.

 

those bolts have a shank before the thread starts.

a shank is a flat area of the bolt with no threads

 

just go to the dealer or try a junk yard dont mess with bolts that are vital to holding something in like that

 

yeh you have to use the shank ones....hit up the dealer!

 

Ahhh I was afraid of that. Okay yay lets go pay like 20 bucks for 3 bolts! LOL
