that last one pictured had the front end and doors repainted. Pics with low light always catch the shade difference in body panels that have been repainted.
I went to HIN in chicago this weekend and I only saw like 4 or 5 R's there. Two were boosted and one was black with a jdm front end. But I did see tons of hotties, so I guess that makes up for the lack of R's. There were a lot of Scions though...

Haha....new paint vs. old paint.
Champ White has to be the worst when it comes to this.

I was gonna say, its not always a repaint.
I know for a fact my door has never been repainted and it appears off under certain lighting conditions too (CW).

yup you are correct. Even when it was 100% original w/ the oem front end it still appeared this way. When I installed the JDM front i didn't repaint it since the paint was fairly good and it seems to match better with the doors than the rear quarter panels. The only times my paint looks this way is in pictures taken with a flash
notice this ITR with original paint has the opposite effect when the picture is taken from the rear

im confused.. aren't those two different caRs ^ ? unless they put different rims on either side
its probably just a coincidence
notice the door on the first one is a completely different color, where the second has a different color on just the back end of the car
