i have a mini me swap ( 95 civic si head ) on a b15b2 block and id like to know if i cud possibly run non synthetic in my car? Its spittin oil out the tail pipe and when i had my integra i had to run non-synthetic in it to get it to stop spittin oil. But since my motor is a vtec motor i didnt know if i cud run it without messin up the motor. THANKS

 

You can run non-synthetic no prob. Synthetic is better but, when you run synthetic with an older motor you can cause leaks because the oil is finer/thinner.

 

do u think that cud maybe stop the oil that is being spit out of the tail pipe? cuz it did on my acura... maybe itll stop that. if its not that what do u think it cud be

 

Is there really oil coming out your tailpipe? This sounds like a serious issue. I've heard of burning oil, but never spitting.

 

That could be the prob., but that oil out of the tail pipe sounds bad.

I doubt its actually spitting oil, probably just black watery carbon sh*t?
