So I'm starting my new job and ordering my new car this week and have been wavering between an RSX type-S and a new Si. Thought that I was secure with the type-s but have just moved to CA this weekend and there are two new civic coupes in the parking lot of my building and I am alot more impressed with them in person than I was in pictures. Had a chance to drive the type-s and was pretty set on what package I was going to order. Every dealer though is 2months behind on Si orders and so I haven't been able to take a look or a test drive.

Wheels: I like the stock wheels as well as the bigger alloys fro the factory but I was wondering if anyone is rolling the 18's or has seen them. I'm wondering if 18's are too much for the car from a looks standpoint.

Suspension: Was wondering what the differences are on the Si suspension from the regular coupe. The listed heights of the car are the same, but was hoping maybe the suspension was lower on the Si and the height was made up from the bigger wheels and tires. If the Si suspension is lower and takes up some of that wheel gap, I might only go with the 17's rather than the blingin' 18's

Anyway, let me know what you guys know about these things. pictures are always great too.

i don't really know the specs or the comparison between the type S and the Si.... I know that i've had my Si since December 16th and i'm absolutely obsessed with it, i almost OVER maintain my car because i love it so much. In fact, i'm about to crack open a beer and go stare at it in my garage and make sure all the fluid levels are up to par.... sounds thrilling huh? well to me, it IS.

 

That's awesome! I hope to get my Fiji blue this month or next month. I like the look of the RSX but this Civic has so much comparable features for alittle less. That is why I am sticking with the SI and not even a used RSX type-s.
