do alot of people do the P72 ECU and what are the results in the search i only found 15 things that were very uninformative...so all i need is the P72 ecu, and my wiring harness will be ok? also any down falls that are going to hurt my motor? i have a 93 H22a so im getting a OBD1 p72 from a friend for 125$. and from what i read it's just aplug and play thing, some good info would be nice and if this has been cover in a topic and has GOOD info please leave me the link cause i didn't see anything/

 

well you will NEED to tune the ECU of course. since you're putting an intagra ECU in a prelude you will have some issues with fuel and ignition timing maps. and the displacement difference will most likely cause you to run lean (fuel for 1800cc going into a 2200cc motor). the ECU should just plug into your stock harness.

 

ive never heard of this. why would you put the fuel maps for a 1.8L into a 2.2L?? i guess i just dont understand the benefits. i have a p72 but only because i have hondata and the p13 isnt compatable.
