Default Anybody have the Sparco Milano?

All this talk of seats has got methinking (and shopping)..

Does anybody have any experience with the Sparco Milano?

From the Sparco site: "The most advanced adjustable sport seats ever manufactured by Sparco. Anatomic, extremely comfortable and in a refined and modern design. Back rest can be reclined to the millimeter, but features the exclusive QTS Technology (quick tilt system) technology for rapid return ot the upright position. It also features a revolutionary contoured injection molded memory foam. Touring car inspired g-force absorbing side bolsters. Perforated abrasion resistant inserts, and a micro-fine recline mechanism. This seat also features a lumbar adjustment system to ensure proper ergonomics and ultimate comfort while driving at all times.

No other seat in the world offers the comfort and performance of the Milano."

I have the milano's in a supra and love the way they feel. The ones we have in it are suede, the leather ones are also very nice. Some will complain that the leathers are too stiff, but I have found that initially they can be stiff and uncomftorable but I found this untrue after some seat time, the memory foam will wear towards your figure making them much more comftorable. A great seat in my opinion. I plan on putting a set of tan leathers in the lexus before too long.

i used to have the torino's which are almost identical to the milano's but i think the only difference is the location of the recline handle. the torino's were great for racing and looks, but i hated trying to get out of my car in them and they're not comfortable to drive on for a long period of time.

Suede is used on the milano, the torinos fabric is more of a alcantara type material like that of the original R seats.

My friend had both in his car. He had the black leather Milano's first and he got rid of them for the Torino's. We've done a few road trips in both seats and I ride with him all the time. We both agree that the Torino's are actually more comfortable. The Milano's were very stiff and just aren't worth the extra $$$ compared to the Torino's. I think the Milano's were $1200 each while he got the Torino's for like $550.

Thanks for the picture, REALLY helped me alot. Do you have anymore? I currently have JDM Recaro's in my yellow ITR and i want to *downgrade* to something else.. at the moment it's a cross between the Sparco Torino's and the Sparco Evo/Evo2's. The red in the yellow ITR's look fab, dosn't really have the McDonalds look in my opinion. Though i would like to know if they are tighter or not compared to the JDM Recaro's. I want my passengers seat for slightly wider passengers than what the Recaro's accomodate. Though i'd like the drivers seat to be the same if not tighter *edit* than the Recaro's *edit*. Which is why i'm also considering the Evo/Evo2 set. If they look similar enough i may end up with even an Evo/Torino combination.

Oh, but what i'd REALLY love to have, is the ones that come in the new Civic Type R's Oh good lord they are so outstanding.

Sweet pics, love the seats. I have also been looking into some seats for my 99GSR. I am currently torn between the Sparco Torino and Recaro SRD, does anyone know the comfort differences between the two? I would just like to know how each one 'fits' a person, which is more snug(around shoulders, mid, thighs, etc.), and which supports the back well too? So if you know, then please let me know, thanks
