I knwo this question is kinda dumb, but my windshield wiper arms black paint coating is starting to come off and turn to just silver. How do I keepo them black? Can I use spray paint or what??

 

Friend spray painted his and it looks stock, can't tell the difference.

 

ive used the flat black paint that is intended for barbecue grills. its tough, heat resistant, and cheap at walmart.

you will need to strip the old paint off first. that will be the tough part.

 

You could probably just use some aircraft remover.

 

just use a scotchbrite pad(the maroon one) till the arm is dull looking then use a flat or semi flat paint to spray the arm.

Mine were completely faded to silver when I first got my car. It looked like I had APC windshield wipers or something
I just went to Advance Auto Parts and bought a can of flat black paint. I forget the brand because I gave the can to a friend to paint his wipers, but i remember it said "High Gloss Black Enamel", but the cap looked like flat black.
