Default N. Virginia Dyno day. Cash on the line too.

Hey folks. Sorry about the late posting, but this saturday, the 6th, Curry's Automotive in Ashburn is holding a dyno day starting at 2pm. If you want to come and hang out and watch, eat free food, etc, it's free. If you want to dyno, it's $50 for 2 dyno runs, and one simulated 1/4 mile run on a Mustang dyno. They can accomodate both 2wd and 4wd cars, so feel free to drag your WRX buddies down.

This is a Japanese/Import car day, so it shouldn't be too crowded. The other bit is that they are offering $125 to the top car in each category, as long as we have at least 25 participants:
highest HP - naturally aspirated
highest HP - forced induction
best ET - naturally aspirated
best ET - forced induction

I'll be there showing off my Honda Challenge car. Even if you don't want to run, come by and check out a nice shop, and grab some free eats.

If you want to be earlier in line, or want to arrange a specific time, call them up and they can schedule you. Otherwise, registration starts at 2pm, and the dyno'ing starts at 3pm.

Hey Warren, You think it would be too late if I come around 4? The thing is that I have to work and I would love to get my car on a dyno. Victor told me about this.

4 is definately not too late. But give them a call so that they can put you on the list.

Lip,
Are you sure you don't want to be there to witness my car making more power than yours? What were your Dyno#s again 240/ 160 Maybe I'll swing by you house to pick you up on my way down Saturday morning.

I'll have french toast with sausage please....

Damn, I have to work, off Sunday though! Grrrr!! I could have unleashed the civic on the scene! haha I would have loved to see it simulate a 1/4 mile run on a dyno. I could just imagine it hitting boost! (as the car launches itself OFF THE DYNO!) haha

Thanks,
Victor Perri II

Yup, although you can register beforehand by calling them up. Make sure you call the Ashburn location, not the Chantilly, though I'm sure the Chantilly site will just send you to the right number.
