Default ECU modification for JDM engines

I am looking to get a JDM front clip and graft it into the rear of my '71 VW Bug. The issues I am seeing are the locking the steering into the straight position and getting the engine to run without having to figure out all the wiring and sensors. I want an automatic transmission mainly because I don't want to run the manual transmission cables. My question is does anybody know if JET Chips can modify the ECU to make the motor run without all the sensors and wiring? I am thinking about a Civic because the wheel track is about the same width as the Bugs. Thanks for your help.

Is this all the Honda world has to offer? I can get second rate insults anywhere.

Wouldn't it be more fun to use an Accord V6 and bolt it up to a bus-box. Adapter plates are available, and the engines are damn cheap. Just tune a Haltech for it to eliminate the sensor issues. Total cost roughly $2500.00, probably considerably cheaper than the clip you are looking at.
