was thinking bout changing my exhaust setup to lighten things up a little what i want to do is come off my turbo with a 90 and go straight into a 12" burns muffler looking straight down to the ground and i want to put the wideband in the 90 now my question is will the wideband be reading falsely being that it is so close to the open atmosphere with the muffler only being 6"-12" long then open on the other side this is on a turbo car

during idle, it will be affected. When I did my swap, My wideband showed lean during initial start up. If i hit the gas past 3000 rpm, I would start to get reasonable readings.
