as the title states, i have a 92 ex. today i went outside and it wouldnt start. we checked for fuel, and thats good. we checked for spark, and it turns out we have None. i was just wondering if there is a "black box" somewhere that we might need to swap out. we have a parts car so we can source any part needed.

most likely its the coil or ICM. Both are located inside the distributor.

 

what should i look for?

If you have a parts car, either swap the whole distiributor out or swap the coils first. If that doesnt fix it, swap the ICM.
Its gonna be one of those.

 

so where is the distributor located?

im sure i could find it if i was actually looking at my engine, but im trying to find a picture with it indicated so i can tell my dad what to take off the parts car.
