USDM ITR tranny a direct drop in on a gs-r motor?

USDM ITR tranny a direct drop in on a gs-r motor?

will i be able to take my gsr transmission out and just bolt the type-r tranny in or do i have to change anything else?

also, if i buy it, i'll be installing a new clutch and flywheel. clutch/flywheel are the same for both gsr and itr right?

To confirm, yes it will bolt on with no modifications at all.

Just did this on Friday.... bought a new ITR tranny with a Exedy Stage 1 and ACT streetlight flywheel. Tranny came with the reverse switch already installed, only had to reuse my VSS from my GSR tranny.

So fun to drive with the shorter geared tranny!! 1-2 shift is awesome!!
