That's what I was thinking, but the yellow connectors wont fit together. I think the airbag is from an obd1 integra, while mines a obd2a. Is there a difference between the airbags?

Okay I think I found the problem. The dash had been changed, and the winners that owned the car before me did'nt switch the bags knowing the connectors did'nt fit together so they just disabled the passenger airbag.
I checked the part numbers for integra ls passenger airbags, I assume the bags are the same for a rs, gsr, etc.

im having the same problem right now with my car reconstruction. I either have hte wrong year airbag or the wrong year yellow srs harness. can i clip off the connectors and put connect the two wires with some quick connects? everything else I have connects fine except the passenger airbag.
Thanx!

You probably can, but I don't think I'd take the chance. Soldering the wires connecting to the airbag is a very bad idea; a small static charge could set off the explosive.
If you're really determined to connect an airbag to the wrong harness, you should get a mating connector and solder it to the harness (with it disconnected from everything else).
Your best bet is to just get the correct airbag.

I found out about the aribag differences when i switched to non SRS ITR wheel. I was trying to hook up my horn and the how to guide refers to a grey SRS plug that I didnt have, looked around and found another how to guide.

I have the connector from the 97 airbag, but I dont want to risk it. How would I go about finding a mating connector? I could just buy a 97 bag and sell the 95 bag that I have.
