I have a d15 block (1990 Civic STD DPFI). I can get an awesome deal on a set of brand new pistons and rings for a d16z6. Any chance these pistons would fit in the d15 block with the stock head and everything?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they have a good chance.

I know the bore is the same if that helps any.

 

the pistons will fit, however, compression ratio will be about 7.4:1 due to much larger dish and less compression height on the Z6 pistons
