gsr swap in an ek hatch, d series fan/radiator. fan doesnt turn on! it was close to overheating, but turned it off before. i just drained the coolant and filled it after chaning the heater hose and swapping back from integra radiator to d series radiator. i waited for a while and i mean a long while. probably 20 minutes and 5 minutes gasing it at a standstill. i'm pretty sure the thermostat opened since the upper and lower radiator hoses felt like the same temp, so could it be bad wiring? or is it because the CEL is on? vtec isn't wired up and no cat yet either.

thermo switch on the termostat housing is probly bad happens alot,it should be the only electical plug on the housing try a different one they are all pretty much the same and you can chek to see if the fan is working by unplugging it and jumping the connection on the plug

you can just hard wire it to a switch, works like a charm and you have the option of having the fan on or off at your pleasure.
