Default Tunning

I have installed a turbo kit for my s2k and were tunning it in 2 days and i want to know what the air/fuel should be set at. I heard that 12.0 is good. Im thinking about setting it at 12.0 before VTEC and 11.5 when it hits VTEC. what do you guys think I should set it at. im running on 8 psi. and were tunning with a VAFC 2.

You are going to be flamed for using a VAFC to tune your turbo s2000 ....

I would say about 19:1 afr should be good for your setup

I already have a VAFC 2 since long time ago, and the tuner said he can tune with the VAFC 2.

what kind of injectors do you have?

stock honda injectors are usually already almost maxed out before u even start boosting, which is why you need bigger injectors. unles u plan on running some ghetto high fuel pressure setup.

or if s2k's are tuned different from the rest from factory..

first of all. tuning. now that thats out of the way.

VAFC is not going to be sufficient enough to tune your car. itll get you only so far. you really should invest in stand alone. AEM EMS or the sort. you wont be sorry.

You are not by anymeans going to want to use a vafc to tune a turbo'd car. As you increase the fuel, it will also increase the ignition timing because it modifies the MAP sensor signal. Advanced igniton in high boost leads to detonation.

Also, i would shoot for an 11.5 to 11, and you are using a wideband sensor to read afr's correct?

You will get a lot better response for tuning options in the Forced Induction forum as well.
