power on power off steering probs
I am having a problem with my 92 civic hb. Let me give you a little back ground on the car. It is 92 hb it has a jdm GSR swap and a Jackson supercharger. The transmission is a usdm type r with no grinds or other obvious problems. I have H&R coilovers on all 4 corners. The car is lowered about 1 1/2" below stock.
The problem that I am having is a power on pull to the left and a power off pull to the right. I have checked the easy stuff like tire pressure and have had it aligned in the last month. The car does not pull left or right as long as you are holding a steady speed. Do any of you have any suggestions as to what may be causing this problem?

I would say you are right except that it still spins both tire even if they are on uneven pavement with uneven traction. Could the diff still lock under conditions where both tires spin but be effected at lower power levels making it pull under acceleration?
another suggestion would be something bent, causing setback, therefor causing one side of your car to pull....sorta like torquesteer. even though static alignment can 'fix' this, under dynamic conditions setback can cause 'torque-steer' which sounds like what you have.
