Rear Brake conversion question...HELP!...pics
OK, i got a set of rear disc brakes from a GSR and put them on the my 97 civic LX... no problems with fitment and everything went good... so now when i drive the brakes get loose... like after a long time with no brake use (i.e. freeway drive) then the brake goes to the floor and i pump once and it gets fine...
here is the setup...
Stock prop valve (not 40-40)
Stock MC (13/16")
.................................................. ........
i already bleed the sytem complety, like exchaged all the fluid and i am stuck... do you think it has to do with this brakeline?

i would try having your brakes bled by a professional. why havent you mounted the brake line? i would also add a 40/40 prop valve as well. i have this swap on my eh and have no problems.

becasue it is too short, thats why i made that loop... the brake lines are not for a 99 SI or equivelent

like, bleed your brakes again. This time get a friend. Keep the valve closed and pump the pedal 15-20 times to push the air to the piston. Open valve to release air. Repeat till no air is released. Don't for get to refill the brake resevoir! Start at the back passsenger side go to the front driver, back driver then front passenger.
